Ashanti Covers Page Six Magazine

This weeks issue of Page Six Magazine features The Princess of Hip-Hop and R&B, Ashanti. In the magazine Ashanti talks about Rihanna; giving her props for "working" the industry instead of the other way around. She also says she respects other artist who have rose to super stardom since 2002, when she first came out. Check the magazine out online. Oh yea, she also talks about wedding plans. ;D

There is something about her face that I dislike in this cover. How come she's not wearing earrings?

Ashanti is NOT the princess of hip-hop and R&B, sorry.

yes she is anonymous...do your research

No, she is not. How is she the princess? Her label gave her that title and she doesn't even live up to it. So no, do YOUR research...on her previous album's sales figures; then get back to me.

She's nowhere near the Princess because she's at the bottom of her game.

DUH... Someone gave her that title. she didnt pull it out her ass and decide to roll with it. it was given to her. and even if she is at the bottom of her game she is still making history and she is still known and forever will be known as the Princess of Hip-Hop and R&B. You just have to deal with it.

^LMAO....some say Mary, some say Beyonce. I say Alicia Keys

Explain how she is making history.. By having the most consecutive flops? What? What is she doing that is historic? Nothing, thank you.

She was known as the princess of hip hop & r&b, and I don't even see how. She did nothing outstanding that any of these other female artists hasn't done.

^ it's fine to be opionated but lets not be ignorant...like i said, do your research and you will see that Ashanti made history this year by having the most top ten singles by any other female artist of her decade. this is the last time ima address your biased opinions or your political comments. have a nice day and thanks for reading the blog :D

Please do not compare her to the other female R&B artists. Top Ten don't mean shit compared to #1 singles. If you want to compare...she's only had ONE #1 single, and she hasn't had that one since her first album. Beyonce has had 4 #1 singles with half the number of albums. Please do not compare.
